New Hampshire SB596 prohibits smoking within Hampton Beach State Park.

New Hampshire SB596 amends RSA 155 to prohibit smoking within Hampton Beach State Park. The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources must develop and post signage informing the public of this prohibition. Authorized officials may enforce the prohibition by directing individuals to comply, but no monetary fines are allowed. The act takes effect January 1, 2027.
