New Hampshire SB483 appropriates funds for recruitment and benefit grants for child care employers.
New Hampshire SB483 amends the 2025 law to appropriate $7.5 million for each of the fiscal years ending June 30, 2026 and 2027, from federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) reserve funds to the Department of Health and Human Services. These funds are designated for recruitment and retention bonus and benefit grants for child care employers. If the federal government denies the use of TANF funds by July 1, 2026, an additional $15 million will be appropriated for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027.
