SB472

Removing the maximum age on the tenure of office for the position of deputy adjutant general.

Complete·5/29/26

Removes the maximum age limit for the deputy adjutant general position in New Hampshire.

The bill amends RSA 110-B:8-b to eliminate the age cap for the deputy adjutant general in New Hampshire. Previously, the deputy adjutant general could not serve past the age of 65. The tenure of office is now set for 4 years or until retirement, without an age restriction. The deputy adjutant general must have at least 5 years of service in the New Hampshire National Guard or U.S. armed forces.
