New Hampshire SB461 redefines hemp to include Cannabis sativa L. and its derivatives with a THC concentration of 0.3% or less.
New Hampshire SB461 amends the definition of hemp to specify it includes the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including seeds and derivatives, with a total tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of not more than 0.3% on a dry weight basis. This definition encompasses extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether the plant is growing or not. The bill repeals and reenacts the existing definition in RSA 439-A:2, V. The changes will take effect 60 days after the bill's passage.
