SB458 allows toll credits to be used for transportation projects in New Hampshire.

SB458 amends the use of toll credits in New Hampshire. Municipal, county, or non-profit managed projects eligible for assistance under Title 23 can purchase toll credits at a discount rate of at least 50 percent to use as a match for federal assistance, without needing approval. Other uses of toll credits require approval from the joint legislative capital project overview committee. The bill also allows the department to use toll credits as a match for federal highway funds for highway and road projects. This act takes effect upon passage.
