New Hampshire SB430, known as the Honesty and Transparency in Education Act, requires educators to respond to written inquiries from parents and legal guardians about their child within 10 business days. The response must be complete and honest unless prohibited by law. If the educator believes the response would endanger the child, they must report it to the superintendent and deny the request. The state board of education must update the code of ethics and conduct for educators by June 30, 2027.
