HB729 allocates $100,000 to the New Hampshire Department of Education to hire an attorney tasked with reviewing and recodifying education laws. The attorney will focus on Title XV, Chapters RSA 186 through 200-N, identifying duplicative, contradictory, and consolidable statutes. The attorney must report findings and recommendations to the commissioner by September 30, 2025. The commissioner, in consultation with the attorney general, will supervise the attorney. The appropriation takes effect July 1, 2025.
