HB519 provides a $500,000 appropriation for each of the fiscal years ending June 30, 2026, and June 30, 2027, to the Department of Health and Human Services. This funding is designated to support all operations, programs, and projects of the Waypoint youth and young adult shelter. The governor is authorized to use these funds from the treasury. The act is set to take effect on July 1, 2025.
