Allows a supervisor of the checklist to verify a voter's identity if they personally know the voter.
The bill amends RSA 654:12, I(d)(4) to include verification of a voter's identity by a moderator, clerk, supervisor, or selectman if they personally know the voter. It also allows residents of a nursing home or similar facility to prove their identity through verification by the administrator or their designee. The supervisor of the checklist must review the voter's application and determine if their identity is established. If not, the voter is not allowed to vote and may appeal to the superior court.
