New Hampshire HB224 establishes a renewable energy fund to rebate ratepayers and support renewable energy initiatives.

New Hampshire HB224 establishes a renewable energy fund to rebate ratepayers and support renewable energy initiatives. The fund will be used to support thermal and electrical renewable energy initiatives, including the office of offshore wind industry development and energy innovation. Class II moneys will primarily support solar energy technologies. All initiatives supported by these funds will be subject to audit by the department of energy. The state treasurer will invest the moneys deposited in the fund, and income from these investments will also be credited to the fund.
