The bill repeals the cap on education trust fund targeted aid for municipalities with a total adjusted district-wide pupil count of 5,000 or more. This change allows for more flexibility in the amount of aid provided to these municipalities, potentially increasing their funding for education. The bill amends RSA 198:41, I to remove the previous limitation on additional targeted aid per pupil. This act is set to take effect on July 1, 2026.
