New Hampshire HB1716 revises the academic accountability of education freedom accounts.

New Hampshire HB1716 amends the academic accountability of education freedom accounts by requiring the Division of Learner Support to develop a rubric for evaluating student portfolios. This includes assessing sources of learning, subject area competency, mastery of knowledge and skills, and reflection. The division must also analyze data from reports to determine academic proficiency rates among pupils participating in the educational freedom account program. The act takes effect 60 days after its passage.
