Amends the definition of "impact fee" to include fees for public recreational facilities and safety equipment.

New Hampshire HB1690 amends the definition of "impact fee" to include fees for public recreational facilities and the purchase of additional safety equipment, such as police, fire, and emergency vehicles. The bill specifies that these fees are imposed on development to help meet the needs for capital facilities and equipment. The changes apply to all impact fee ordinances, which must comply with the new definition by July 1, 1993.
