Expands the housing finance authority's community heroes program to support homeownership for essential workers and appropriates funds for it.

The bill expands the housing finance authority's community heroes program to provide financial assistance for homeownership to essential workers, including health care, daycare, and elder care workers, law enforcement officers, firefighters, first responders, educators, and active members of the armed services. It appropriates $1,500,000 annually for this purpose, with no more than 10 percent retained for administrative expenses. The governor can draw warrants for these sums from unappropriated funds.
