New Hampshire HB164 modifies the state's records retention laws to allow electronic municipal records, including paper records converted to electronic format, to be stored on a publicly accessible website. This website must be designated by and in accordance with guidance from the state archivist. If records are stored in this manner, municipalities are not required to keep additional copies if they provide at least one cost-free method for the public to access the website.
