Expanding information provided to sexual assault survivors regarding their rights.

New Hampshire HB1633 amends RSA 21-M:18 to expand the rights of sexual assault survivors, including the right to a free medical examination and the right to receive a sexual assault evidence collection kit. The bill also mandates the attorney general to post a document on their website summarizing these rights and policies. Additionally, it requires the Department of Justice to adopt standardized rape protocol and kit and domestic violence protocol for use by physicians and hospitals. The act takes effect 60 days after its passage.
