New Hampshire HB1625 mandates annual reporting on accessory dwelling unit construction and use.

New Hampshire HB1625 amends RSA 12-O:53-a, II to require the Office of Planning and Development to prepare an annual report on accessory dwelling units. The report will detail the number of units being built, their attachment status, occupancy, use as short-term rentals, conversion from preexisting structures, and whether they meet definitions of affordable or workforce housing. It will also include information on manufactured housing. The act takes effect July 1, 2026.
