New Hampshire HB1524 mandates logic and critical thinking courses in high schools starting in the 2026-2027 school year.

New Hampshire HB1524 requires the inclusion of logic and critical thinking courses within the state's high school curriculum. This bill amends RSA 193-E:2-a, I(b) to integrate computer use and digital literacy into logic and rhetoric. It also adds a new subparagraph (h) defining "critical thinking" and a new subparagraph (12) for logic and critical thinking. RSA 186:11 is amended to include a new paragraph XXXVIII for logic and critical thinking courses. The school board must ensure these courses are part of the curriculum for all high schools.
