Text Text

New Hampshire HB1506 creates a procedure for state agencies to request exceptions to restricted uses of artificial intelligence.

New Hampshire HB1506 amends RSA 21-R:4 by adding a new paragraph XXII, which establishes a procedure for commissioners or heads of state agencies to request exceptions to the applicability of RSA 5-D. The request must specify the purpose for needing the exception. The bill also adds a new section 4:49 to RSA 4, granting the executive council the authority to review and decide on these requests. The act takes effect upon passage.
