New Hampshire HB1486 prohibits insurers from considering the driving records of non-policyholders in setting premiums.

New Hampshire HB1486 amends RSA 412 to prohibit insurers from requiring higher coverage, financial responsibility, or policy riders due to the driving records of household members not covered by the policy. Insurers may still consider the records of named insureds or listed drivers. The act takes effect January 1, 2027.
