Establishes a student member on the school board for high school students.
The bill amends RSA 194:23-f to allow public high schools to select one or more student members to serve on the school board. These student members are chosen by a simple majority vote of the high school student body and serve for one academic year. They can seek reelection and must attend all regularly scheduled monthly board meetings. Student members represent student concerns, propose agenda items, and communicate with the board but do not have voting rights. They must declare their intent to run 15 days before the election, and elections are held 30 days after the school year starts.
