HB1449

Limiting times vaccine clinics may operate at schools, with certain exceptions.

Chamber Passed·3/17/26

HB1449 restricts school vaccination clinics to times outside of school hours, with exceptions for influenza clinics and public health emergencies.

HB1449 amends RSA 200 to prohibit public elementary and secondary schools, as well as chartered public schools, from operating vaccination clinics during school hours. Exceptions include clinics exclusively providing influenza vaccinations and those held during a public health emergency declared under state or federal law. The bill also clarifies that it does not affect the duties of school nurses. This act will take effect 60 days after its passage.
