Allows mental health caseworkers to report animal abuse by clients without liability.

New Hampshire HB1438 amends RSA 330-A to allow mental health caseworkers to report animal abuse by clients without fear of liability. Caseworkers can report to the nearest police department or the New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. This protection extends to confidentiality breaches when reporting abuse. The act takes effect 60 days after passage.
