HB1433 establishes a tax credit for businesses that expand or create child care programs in New Hampshire. The credit applies to expenditures for renovating or expanding property to create child care or increasing operational expenditures for new or existing facilities. Businesses can claim a credit equal to 50 percent of their expenditures, up to a maximum of $5,000,000 per fiscal year. The credit can be applied against business profits taxes or business enterprise taxes. The Department of Revenue Administration will administer the credit, including verifying eligible expenses and licensing.
