Establishes credentials for superintendents in New Hampshire schools.

New Hampshire HB1402 amends RSA 186 to include a new section detailing the credentials required for superintendents. To be certified, candidates must have at least three years of experience as an education administrator in a K-12 setting and complete an approved educational administration program. The commissioner of education will adopt rules for certification, including application procedures and required materials. The act takes effect 60 days after passage.
