HB1397 mandates abutter notification for intent to cut and defines "abutter.

HB1397 amends RSA 79:10 to require municipal officials to notify abutters by verified mail of an intent to cut. The bill also amends RSA 72:29 to define "abutter" as per RSA 672:3. The applicant must cover the cost of abutter notification and a 30-day comment period is provided before sign-off by assessing officials. The act takes effect 60 days after passage.
