HB1369

Relative to the manner of posting the warrant for town meetings.

Vetoed·6/24/26

New Hampshire HB1369 mandates warrant posting for town meetings on the town's website and other public places.

New Hampshire HB1369 amends the law to require the warrant for town meetings to be posted on the town's Internet website, if available, at least 14 days before the meeting. The warrant must also be posted at the meeting place and another public place within the town. This applies to both regular and special town meetings, with special meetings having additional notice requirements. The act does not prevent towns from posting the warrant in additional locations. The changes take effect 60 days after the bill's passage.
