Directing the commission to study costs of special education to consider establishing centralized locations throughout the state for certain special education-related services.

Introduced·12/1/25
Text Text

Establishes a commission to study the costs of special education and consider centralizing certain services.

The bill amends RSA 186-C:1-a, III by adding a new subparagraph (n) to study whether creating centralized school administrative unit locations for students throughout the state could help offset the costs for paying for excess full-time special education staff while maintaining classroom integration. The bill also repeals certain sections related to the commission to study special education.
