New Hampshire HB1209 mandates school bus stops be placed to avoid student crossings of traffic lanes.

New Hampshire HB1209 amends RSA 265 to mandate that school bus stops be positioned to prevent students from crossing traffic lanes when boarding or exiting the bus. Bus drivers are prohibited from allowing children to cross any lane of traffic for boarding or departing activities. The law takes effect 60 days after its passage.
