New Hampshire HB1184, known as the "No Trespass Orders on Public Property Act," amends RSA 635 to allow governing bodies to issue emergency no trespass orders (NTO) on public property to protect public safety, prevent substantial disruption, or prevent damage. An emergency NTO must be in writing, state the date and time of issuance, identify the specific property, provide a factual basis, and state the expiration date. The NTO expires 35 days after issuance unless approved by the governing body. Individuals subject to an NTO have the right to a hearing within 10 days of issuance.
