New Hampshire HB1168 amends employer documentation requirements for wage claims.

New Hampshire HB1168 modifies the wage claim process by allowing a wage claim to be filed by an employee or the department up to 36 months after wages are due. The commissioner must notify the employer of the claim and order them to file objections within 20 days. If no objections are filed, the commissioner can order payment. The scope of review by the superior court is limited to questions of law. The decision becomes final and enforceable if not appealed.
