New Hampshire HB1163 mandates the secretary of state to establish a uniform election records management system.

New Hampshire HB1163 amends RSA 659 by adding a new subdivision requiring the secretary of state to implement a uniform election records management system. This system must capture all records, both paper and electronic, and meet all legal and regulatory requirements. It must also permit tracking of record movement and activity, efficient search and retrieval by authorized personnel, and identification of creation and update details. The act will take effect 60 days after its passage.
