New Hampshire HB1156 requires probate courts to record notices of real estate acquisitions through inheritance or similar devise in county registries of deeds. This applies to all such notices before the final count is rendered. The register of deeds is allowed to charge a fee for this service. The act does not apply when real estate is sold by license or consent. The changes will take effect on July 1, 2026.
