New Hampshire HB1092 amends the definition of guard dogs to include those that attack animals or humans off the owner's property.

New Hampshire HB1092 modifies the definition of guard dogs to include those that attack animals or humans when not on the owner's property. This change amends RSA 466:31, II(g) to clarify the conditions under which a dog is considered a guard dog. The bill will take effect on January 1, 2027.
