Establishing a commission to study the impacts of reinsurance on the cost and availability of property insurance in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire HB1056 establishes a commission to study the impact of extreme weather on the reinsurance market and its effect on the cost and availability of property insurance. The commission will examine the relationship between global extreme weather events and reinsurance rates, the effect of reinsurance costs on insurance premiums, and the availability of reinsurance to small local carriers.
