Amends the definition of capital murder in New Hampshire to include killings during certain felonies and killings of specific officials or candidates.

New Hampshire HB1047 modifies the definition of capital murder to include killings of individuals during the commission of certain felonies, such as offenses under RSA 318-B:26 and burglary under RSA 635:1. It also includes killings of specific officials or candidates, such as the governor, members of Congress, or candidates for these offices, when the killing is motivated by knowledge of the victim's capacity. The changes will take effect on January 1, 2027.
