Introduced·11/7/25
Text Text

Amends New Hampshire statutes to make the register of deeds chapter gender neutral.

The bill amends several sections of the New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated (RSA) to update the language in the register of deeds chapter to be gender neutral. This includes changing references from "he or she" to "they" and "him or her" to "them" in various provisions related to the duties, penalties, distribution, and appointment of registers of deeds and their deputies and assistants. The changes aim to ensure the statutes are inclusive and non-discriminatory.
