New Hampshire HB1026 amends the definition of "manufactured housing" and regulates accessory dwelling units.

New Hampshire HB1026 amends the definition of "manufactured housing" to include structures that are transportable in one or more sections, 8 body feet or more in width and 40 body feet or more in length, or when erected on site, is 320 square feet or more, and which is built on a permanent chassis and designed to be an accessory dwelling unit for any single-family dwelling. The bill also allows municipalities to prohibit accessory dwelling units associated with multiple single-family dwellings attached to each other, such as townhouses, and with rented or leased land.
