Text Text

New Hampshire HB1023 allows accessory commercial units by right in all zoning districts statewide.

New Hampshire HB1023 establishes accessory commercial units by right in all zoning districts statewide. These units include various small-scale businesses such as coffee shops, bakeries, and personal training studios, provided they do not produce excessive noise, odor, vibration, traffic, or other adverse impacts. The bill permits these units on any lot containing a lawful principal use and prohibits municipalities from enforcing ordinances that prohibit their establishment.
