Introduced·11/7/25
Text Text

Exempts certain retirees from the 28-day waiting period for part-time employment in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire HB1014 amends RSA 100-A:7-b to exempt certain retirees from the 28-day waiting period for part-time employment. Specifically, it excludes retirees who were concurrently employed in a part-time position by a different employer at the time of retirement application. Additionally, it modifies the annual limitations on part-time employment to exclude hours worked during an emergency, such as those declared by the governor or during woodland fire control. Employers must report these emergency hours separately. The changes take effect 60 days after the bill's passage.
