New Hampshire HB1008 modifies innovative land use controls, including exemptions, streamlined application processes, and affordable housing requirements. The bill allows applicants to propose alternative solutions to meet local ordinance or regulation requirements, including preservation of existing affordable housing units and habitability for existing tenants during construction. It also permits municipalities to require a restrictive covenant as a substitute for existing requirements.
