Allows county attorneys in New Hampshire to appoint investigators with statewide law enforcement authority.

The bill amends RSA 7 to allow county attorneys to appoint investigators with statewide law enforcement authority. These investigators must be certified or eligible for certification as police officers. They report to the county attorney and are subject to removal if they fail to achieve or maintain certification. The appointment requires approval from county commissioners and is subject to available county appropriations.
