Requires the Board of Public Utilities to set minimum staffing levels for electric public utility workers.

Requires the Board of Public Utilities to establish minimum staffing requirements for electric public utility workers. The board must consider similar staffing requirements in other states, national or industry standards, historic utility worker employment levels, and the frequency and likelihood of major events in the utility's service area. The board must also create a process for utilities to petition for fewer workers than the minimum requirement. The act takes effect immediately.
