This board will oversee all veteran service officers, boards, councils, commissions, and programs within the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as programs, benefits, and services provided by state executive branch departments, divisions, commissions, and agencies. The board will consist of the heads of veteran organizations with 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) tax-exempt status.
