Prohibits SHBP, SEHBP, and Medicaid from denying coverage for chronic condition medications due to plan changes.

Prevents the State Health Benefits Program, School Employees’ Health Benefits Program, and Medicaid from denying coverage for maintenance medications for chronic conditions if the denial is due to a change in the health benefits plan or pharmacy benefits manager. This applies if the covered person was taking the medication before the change and the new plan covers that class of drugs.
