Nevada SB53 would require navigation providers to incorporate road condition notifications into their services.

Nevada SB53 would require the Department of Transportation to create an electronic system for local governments to report road conditions. It would authorize cities, counties, and other public authorities to notify navigation providers of road closures, hazards, and other conditions. Navigation providers would need to incorporate this information into their services within 48 hours or face a civil penalty of $500 per day of the violation.
