The bill allocates funds from the State General Fund to the State Public Charter School Authority for the transportation of pupils enrolled in charter schools. The funds must be used for transportation purposes and cannot be spent for any other purpose after June 30, 2027. Any unspent balance must be returned to the State General Fund by September 17, 2027. The act becomes effective on July 1, 2025.
