Nevada SB360 mandates daily room cleaning and visual inspections for guest rooms in certain hotels.
Nevada SB360 imposes safety requirements for hotels, particularly those in counties with populations over 100,000. It mandates that resort hotels and hotels with more than 200 guest rooms ensure daily room cleaning and visual inspections by room attendants every second day. Guests can opt out of daily cleaning, but hotels must document this choice. The State Board of Health must adopt regulations to enforce these requirements, including prohibiting hotels from advising or incentivizing guests to opt out.
