Complete·5/31/25

Nevada SB330 clarifies the definition of a facility for skilled nursing to include inpatient care.

Nevada SB330 amends the definition of a "facility for skilled nursing" to specify that it provides inpatient continuous skilled nursing and related care. This change clarifies that such facilities offer care to patients who are not in an acute episode of illness and whose primary need is continuous care. The bill also excludes facilities that meet the requirements of a general or special hospital from being classified as a facility for skilled nursing. The changes become effective on July 1, 2025.
