SB320

Revises provisions relating to crosswalks. (BDR 43-9)

Complete·5/31/25

Nevada SB320 revises regulations on stopping, standing, and parking near crosswalks.

Nevada SB320 amends existing law to apply the prohibition on stopping, standing, or parking within 20 feet of a crosswalk to both marked and unmarked crosswalks. If a curb extension is present, the prohibition applies within 15 feet of the crosswalk. The bill also removes restrictions on enforcement of these prohibitions, allowing law enforcement to take action regardless of whether notice of the prohibition was provided by an official traffic-control device. The changes become effective on October 1, 2025, with enforcement provisions taking effect on January 1, 2027.
